London dialect was spoken in
London
Nowadays a variety of the London dialect, called Estuary English, is spoken in adjacent areas of the counties around London - Essex, Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. In these regions the tradition dialects have been largely overwhelmed by the London-based accent.
